Plans to expand and remodel the visitor centre at a local National Trust property have been revealed.
The charity has applied for planning permission for the works at Packwood House in Lapworth.
Described as a "modest extension", the renovations will "enhance the visitor experience".
The application to Warwick District Council explained: "These proposed changes relate to the visitors' centre to cope with the increasing footfall and functional issues of the space whilst enhancing the visitor experience within the conservation setting."
Works would see a freestanding canopy installed to the rear for shaded tables which could be removed when required.
The path to the front of the centre would be remodelled to adjust to the new extension and the existing one would be turned to planting.

The current bin store would be replaced to install a biomass boiler "providing efficient and sustainable heating for the visitor reception, shop, and café".
The application continued: "The proposed extension and reconfiguration of Packwood House Visitor Centre aim to enhance the visitor experience by creating clearer circulation and well-defined spaces for reception, retail, and membership engagement.
"Retail capacity will be expanded by around 50%, adding seven new product bays, each with the potential to generate up to £8,500 in net income, while dedicated areas for visitor engagement will support membership growth and fundraising.
"The design also prioritises accessibility and sustainability, with step-free access, automatic doors, induction loops at tills, and a wheelchair-friendly layout.
"Operational efficiency will be improved through better visibility for welcome staff and enhanced traffic management at the car park, ensuring a smoother, safer experience for all visitors."
