Sixty-six new homes

Plans to build 66 new homes next to Smith's Garden Centre in Baginton have been revealed.

The scheme, submitted by Seven Capital plc, would only include nine affordable homes.

If approved, a farmhouse and agricultural buildings would be demolished.

5G Mast

A 25-metre high 5G tower could be built near Coventry Airport if plans are approved by Warwick District Council.

Mobile services company Cornerstone said the mast would improve 5G, 4G, 3G and 2G service in the area for Vodaphone.

It could replace an existing 15 metre tower at Middlemarch Business Park.

Guest House to Home

A Kenilworth guest home is set to be turned back into a four-bed family home following a council decision.

The Harger Court accommodation is currently part of The Kenilworth Hotel.

But permission has been granted to turn it back into a dwelling - which it was until 2008.

Castle Farm

Demolition work has begun at Castle Farm Recreation Centre.

The facility was closed in December 2021 but work on its redevelopment has only begun this July.

WDC leader Cllr Andrew Day commented: "We are delighted to have reached another milestone and are now looking forward to the commencement of construction of these wonderful new facilities in a matter of weeks."
