The Talisman Theatre's new monthly fringe night will return tonight (September 1).

First launched in May, the Barrow Road theatre hailed its new venture as a success from the start.

Run at the Holiday Inn, tickets cost just £5 and there will be two performances - one at 7pm and the second at 9.30pm.

This month's edition will see two short plays and music on offer.

The first play 'Knight Intruder' is a comedy featuring Simon Moss, Mary Dunn and Ben Wellicome which will "change your whole attitude towards home security".

This will be followed by music from Eric Eracleous, an Anglo-Cypriot singer songwriter based in the Midlands.

His repertoire includes blues-inspired tunes, inspired by experiences in love, heartbreak and the struggles of life.

Ménage À Trois (Thousand Feet) by David Evans and directed by Vanessa Comer will follow.

The piece follows the story of Jane who is having an affair with Rex and opts to tell her husband Tim during a charity parachute jump - the outcome is not what she had planned.

The play features Rob Sloan, Zoe Faithful and Alex Comer.

TalismanFringe audiences can see the show at the Holiday Inn, Kenilworth for the hour-long performances starting at 7.30pm or at 9pm.

The programme is the same at both performances.

Tickets are £5 and can be booked online at www.talismantheatre.co.uk or on the night.
