HS2's 14-month Kenilworth road closure to begin next week

The 14-month closure of a busy Kenilworth road for HS2 works is just a week away.
Dalehouse Lane will close on Tuesday 7 April until June 2027.
The busy link into town will shut for over a year to finish the new bridge which will eventually carry the road over the new rail line.
Design details for the 50-metre bridge for Dalehouse Lane were signed off last year.
Residents have already been quick to criticise the closure, with some labelling it "madness".
Meanwhile town councillors also criticised HS2's communication around the closure.
