We maintain andoptimize technologies in the Global Amazon Warehouse & DeliveryNetwork.PURPOSE OF THE JOB:We arelooking for motivated, customer-focused people who want to join ourteam as a Senior Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician.The focus of the Senior Reliability Maintenance EngineeringTechnician role is to ensure safety regulations and policies areadhered to, to ensure preventative maintenance is conducted on timeto a high standard and to provide high levels of equipmentavailability through continuous improvement.Shift Pattern: This role includes working innon-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights andweekends.Key jobresponsibilities- Role model health & safety bestpractices and monitor those around them to ensure they follow theexample they set.- Work in a hands-on manner anddemonstrate SME (Subject Matter Expert) levels of knowledge on allMHE (Material Handling Equipment) in the building.-Coach and mentor the technicians on shift.- Support theline manager and to supervise the shift in theirabsence.- Provide high levels of equipment availabilityto our internal customers by means of troubleshooting andprioritizing.- Support continuous improvement of systemsin a standard manner across the EU network.- Develop andmaintain a good working relationship across all levels in theorganization.- Understanding of OEE (Overall EquipmentEffectiveness) and equipment performance metrics.-Management of contractors.We are open tohiring candidates to work out of one of the followinglocations:Coventry, LEC,GBR BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - Multiskilled in both electrical and mechanical disciplines with relevantexperience in automation or complex MHE environments.-Solid foundational knowledge of PLC based controlssystems.- Experience using CMMS (ComputerizedMaintenance Management Systems) to plan proactive maintenance andrecord reactive tasks.- Knowledge of StatutoryCompliance requirements.- Ability to communicate(written & verbal) in English and the local language at CEFRLevel B2 or higher.- Served a full engineeringindentured apprenticeship and/or qualified to a minimum of NVQlevel 3 or equivalent (must hold Level 3 qualification withsatisfactory Guided Learning Hours)". PREFERREDQUALIFICATIONS - Proven ability to supervise andinfluence others on the team.- Proven ability tomulti-task and prioritize many different projects andworkload.- Experience of multi-contractormanagement.- Experience in a multi-siteenvironment.Amazon isan equal opportunities employer.
