Private Client (Wills, Probate, Estate Planning) Paralegal

Kenilworth, Warwickshire

The Employer:

Our client is a very long-established, Legal 500-listed, Lexcel and CQS accredited law firm

who are invested in training and development for all staff including, but not limited to, full induction training, funding for continuing competence courses and activities, financial support for training leading to professional qualifications, regular in-house compliance training and funding for professional memberships and practising certificates.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting the Head of Private Client Department and Senior Associate in all aspects of Private Client work including Wills, Probate, Lasting Powers of Attorney, and estate planning matters
  • Liaising with clients by phone, email and face to face in a professional and sympathetic manner
  • Drafting of legal documents and correspondence
  • Working as part of an established team with an excellent client base and reputation

Suitable candidates will have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience dealing with private client/ wills and probate work
  • Knowledge of tax relating to the administration of estates
  • Excellent client care skills
  • Good IT skills including Word, Excel, Outlook and experience in using a legal case management system

This is a permanent, fully office-based job, offered on a full-time or part-time basis (minimum 29 hours per week). Core hours are 9am to 5.15pm Monday to Friday.
