About Waverley Day Centre
For over 40 years Waverley has been providing a place for older people in Kenilworth to meet for 'fun, food and friendship'.
Originally launched as a lunch club in the 1980's, the centre on Waverley Road is now a not-for-profit charity tackling social isolation in the town and across South Warwickshire.
Waverley is a place where older people can come and relax, socialise with others, and even take part in a range of stimulating activities.
Open from mid-morning to 3.30pm Tuesday to Friday, the centre offers guests a warm welcome and an alternative for those who may otherwise be forced to stay at home alone for most of the week.
Waverley day Care Centre ( Kenilworth Community Care) is a registered charity (charity number 1105054) and is not for profit.
The objective of the company is to promote the welfare of the elderly in Kenilworth.

Waverly Day Centre is looking for Trustees to join its Board
Having recently carried out a skills assessment we would be particularly interested to hear from individuals with experience in adult social care who are either already a Trustee or have an interest in becoming a Trustee.
We would also be interested in talking to individuals who have experience in any of the following areas:
- Fundraising
- Charity governance or experience as a charity trustee
- Stakeholder engagement with local networks, local/district councils in Warwickshire
You would be joining an active and passionate group of Trustees who meet every six weeks on a Tuesday – late afternoon, early evening in Kenilworth.
If you would like to register your interest and have an informal chat with the Chair of Trustees, please send an e-mail with your contact details to [email protected]
