The details of road closures for the Kenilworth Half Marathon 2021 have been announced by Warwickshire County Council.

The Kenilworth Half Marathon will take place on Sunday, September 12, marking a return to the race after the cancelled event in 2020.

The course will see up to 2,000 runners start at Abbey End towards the castle, before heading south to Beausale. Runners will then return to Kenilworth to finish at Abbey End once again.

As a result, Warwick Road will be closed between the junction with Abbey End Car Park and Barrowfield Lane, and the junction with Harger Court from 6am to 1pm on Sunday 12 September.

From 8:45am to 12:30pm the following roads will all be closed:

Borrowell Lane

Barrowfield Lane

Greville Road

Brookside Avenue

Castle Hill

Castle Road

Brookside Road

Fishponds Road

John O'Gaunt Road

Rounds Hill

Rouncil Lane

Woodcote Lane

Warwick Road

Siddley Avenue

Randall Road.

Pedestrian access to properties and land situated adjacent to the streets listed will be maintained at all times.

Whilst the road closure has been enforced by WCC, any complaints can be directed to Warwick District Council Events Team at [email protected].
