Kenilworth Wardens Sunday side carried on from their first victory against Stockton to beat newly-formed Bulldog 4-3.
Bulldog started the better of the two sides, with the young Wardens side struggling with their physicality and work rate.
Bulldog took the lead after 10 minutes with a well worked finish. Bulldog doubled their lead 20 minutes in after a last ditch tackle from James Carro fell to the Bulldog striker to put it away.
Wardens pulled a goal back following a poor pass from the bulldog keeper found striker Andy Legg, his shot was blocked by bulldogs centre back but looped up in the air, the bulldog keeper then fouled Toby Wells trying to collect the ball out of the air. Wells then dispatched the penalty to bring a goal back.
On 40th minutes and against the run of play, Wardens conceded a penalty after Carro was adjudged to have fouled Bulldog's striker.
Despite protests that the ball was won, a penalty was given and scored to make it 3-1 at half time.
Bulldog were the better side after the break, creating four clear cut chances, with Wardens only staying in the game thanks the brilliant saves from Eddie Morris.
On a rare break forward, Wardens pulled a goal back on the counter, after Andy Legg played through Harrison Wright, who calmly ran past the last defender and then keeper before slotting home.
Ethan Price was brought off the bench and made an immediate impact, attacking an Eamonn Richards corner to bundle home the equaliser.
Controversy hit with 15 minutes left, when Harrison Wright ran into the box and was barged over by a bulldog player, the referee adjudged it was a fair challenge and during the protests Richards was sent to the sin bin for 10 minutes.
However despite being a man down, Wardens kept looking for a winner and were rewarded following interplay between Wright and Wells allowed the latter to beat his man in the box and hammer home to make it 4-3.
Bulldog pushed for an equalizer but were thwarted by another brilliant save from Morris in the final minute of the game.
Speaking after the game manager Paddy Breslin said: "Our young side continue to learn and, somewhat fortunately, continue to win.
"There was a vast improvement in the second half. Our aim now is to go into October unbeaten but the division seems really strong this season."
