Kenilworth Wardens Reserves remain bottom of the Coventry Alliance Division Three, following their promotion to the division last season.
Wardens Reserves are yet to register a win this season, having secured just one point from six games thus far.
Missed opportunities, and lapses in concentration have cost the Kenilworth outfit consistently this campaign.
This was shown to its greatest extent last weekend as spells of disorganisation in each half meant the Reserves crashed to a 6-2 defeat at the hands of Crick Athletic Reserves, despite dominating for large sections of the game.
Speaking to Kenilworth Nub News ahead of tomorrow's fixture with Bourton and Frankton, Reserve team manager Ashley Clarke said "For 70 minutes we were the better side against Crick, but two ten-minute spells where we switched off cost us.
"We will be looking to put that right this weekend against a tough Bourton side having made a few tweaks to the side."
This weekend certainly is a great opportunity for the Reserves to get their season up and running.
They will travel away to face second-bottom Bourton and Frankton, a side who sit just one point ahead of them, having drawn two of their six games.
Bourton have conceded seventeen, and scored eight, compared to Kenilworth's 16 conceded and seven scored. Neither side has kept a clean sheet yet this season, meaning that tomorrow's (October 31) fixture is likely to be a close but entertaining game.
Moreover, given that the bottom four sides are separated by just four points, a win for either side would be a huge boost in the hunt for survival.
Kick off is Saturday October 31, at 2.15pm at Bourton Football Pitch, Main Street, Bourton-on-Dunsmore, Warwickshire CV23 9RE
