Kenilworth Sporting FC will play at their new Gypsy Lane home ground for just the second time, as they host a fourth-placed Coventrians this Saturday (October 10).
Sporting went to the top of the Midland Football League Division Three last weekend following an impressive 3-0 away victory over Sutton United.
This was the fifth consecutive victory for Martin Ascroft's Sporting side, who are one of three teams in the division to currently boast a 100 per cent record.
In their opening five games, the Kenilworth outfit have netted 16 times, and conceded just twice, keeping three clean sheets.
In fact they have only been trailing for a grand total of 20 minutes all season.
This weekend, however, will be another tough test for Kenilworth Sporting.
Coventrians are another strong side, currently sitting fourth in the division. They too boasted a 100 per cent record, until they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Central Ajax last weekend.
Whilst Coventrians have scored 18 times (the only team to have netted more than Kenilworth this season), they have also conceded eight, keeping just one clean sheet in five games.
The home side will certainly look to exploit this, whilst also trying to maintain their own impressive defensive record. Sporting will have to pay particular attention to Coventrian striker Jeremie Agholor, who has already netted seven times in five starts this season, including a hat trick on the opening day against Leamington Hibernian.
Sporting will be full of confidence however, buoyed further by their new signing from GNP Sports, Sean Burke.
Speaking ahead of Saturday's game Martin Ascroft has focused on his side's impressive start to the season, but their need to keep focused, "I couldn't be more pleased with the start we have made to our first season as a club and as a team.
"It's very important that the group doesn't get carried away with our start, football is always going to bite your bum at some point. We take each game as it comes, we prepare the same, we train the same, we have no idea on any of our opponents so it's pointless trying give any teams special treatment.
"Coventrians have had a great start to their season, but last week they got that bite on the bum, losing their first game so far. We will be very aware that they will be looking to bounce back against the current team in form.
"I'm sure that the Kenilworth supporters will see an entertaining game with both sides going all out for the three points.
"Obviously I'm still not ready to venture out after my double hip replacement, but my assistant Luke Hopkins has already got us a win with me not around, so I know the team are in safe hands."
Kick off is at 3pm at Gypsy Lane, tickets costing £3 for adults, and £1 for under 16's.
Nub News will bring you the match result on Saturday.
