Kenilworth Sporting FC have announced another signing today ahead of their clash with Coventrians this coming weekend.

Midfielder Sean Burke has made the move to the Midlands Football League Division Three side from GNP Sports, who currently sit bottom of Division One after eight games.

Kenilworth Sporting's manager Martin Ascroft has said "Sean is a talented midfielder who I have managed and coached since he was 11 years old.

"I am greatly looking forward to working with Sean again after his short time with GNP. I would like to thank GNP for their help and professionalism in making sure that Sean doesn't miss any football."

Burke has made one start so far this season, in GNP's 3-1 defeat to Cadbury Athletic at the beginning of September.

The news comes as the second new signing since the start of the season as Charlie McConnachie had already made the move from Coventry Sphinx to Kenilworth late in September.

Burke will come in as further reinforcement for a Sporting side who have just topped the Midlands League Division Three table, after their 3-0 victory over Sutton United last time out.
