Kenilworth Sporting are hoping to continue their new-found success on and off the field by adding to their match day squad with a new kit person.

Sporting, who sit top of the Midlands League Division Three, have recently reformed after significant investment from Geoff Harris of Coventry Plumbing and Heating, which has seen major improvements to their home ground, as well as on field success.

As the club continues to expand the management staff are looking to expand with a new kit person top of the list.

The role will included:

- Travelling with the team to home and away games

- Sorting the kit and match day strip ahead and after fixtures

- Storing the kit between games

- Taking the strip to and from the laundrette between fixtures

- Managing the kit and sourcing replacements where necessary

Travel expenses will be covered and a successful applicant will also be furnished with a club tracksuit and will be part of the match day management team.

First team manager Martin Ascroft said "They'll really be part of the team, and of course will be reimbursed for all expenses on the job.

"It would be fantastic to get someone local who wants to help out. That is all part of what we are trying to do at Sporting, getting the local community involved."

No prior experience is needed for the role, and could even be suitable for a young person looking to get some experience in the football industry.

Whilst Sporting are still unable to play due to the current tiered restrictions, the club are still eager to find somebody to fill the role as soon as possible.
