Kenilworth bounced back to winning ways with a five-wicket victory over Corley.

Winning the toss Kenilworth bowled first and found an early breakthrough hard to come by as Corley reached 50 unbeaten, albeit at a slow rate.

But change bowler Darius Potten-Ravenshad came on to remove the top five as the hosts slumped from 60 for none to 88 to five.

Connor Shingler and Quinn Bungard then helping to mop up the tail as Kenilworth were set a target of 123 to win.

Shingler finishing with economical 3/22 from his 10 overs, and Quinn finishing 2/6.

Top order runs setup the Kenilworth reply and secured the win, despite a small wobble with two wickets falling with scores level.

Openers Sonu Kumar and Joe Atkinson made 12 and 26 respectively before they were dismissed.

Numbers three and four Quinn (31) and Dan Horner (28) also contributing to the chase without quite seeing it over the line.

That just left Connor Shingler (1*) and Adam Huxford (4*) to see Kenilworth home inside 22 overs.

The first XI took 20 points to climb to third in the Warwickshire County League Division Two table.
