I am Nessa Fereshteh Saniee, Sara Fereshteh Saniee's sister.

Sara is known as Sara Saniee among her artist peers.

She is a 45-year-old interdisciplinary artist who was arrested on 25 September at her home by authorities of Islamic Republic of Iran.

We only know she was arrested as they attempted to arrest her tenant too, but they only took his belonging.

Sara has been kept in Evin Prison for 55 days and she hasn't contacted her family in the past 18 days today.

Why doesn't Sara have the right to have an independent lawyer?

Why can she not call her parents?

When she calls that has been very scarce, she only can say a few sentences and cannot deny or approve of where she has been kept.

She is not allowed to tell us what her charges are. Why are we not aware of her charges after 55 days?

These are the minimum citizen laws even in Iran that has been taken away from her.

In one of her last calls, she mentioned she has heart ache and has had a heart electrocardiogram.

She hadn't called us to tell us if she's ok.

In the past two weeks, mixed messages are given to my parents. One day her case is forwarded to Dadgah Enghelab (Revolutionary Court) and next day they read her name and say they are accelerating her case.

Sara said that prepare the bail 18 days ago but we are still kept in the dark. My elderly parents are in front of Evin Prison every day and no answer is given to them.

My mother has low blood pressure and she fainted one day last week in the way to prison.

Please let Sara call her family. Please let her visit her parents.

Sara is an artist not a criminal. All she has done is to show the best face of Iran through her amazing Iranian food.

Please be Sara's voice - I won't rest until she's out.
