The state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II will be screened at two Kenilworth venues this Monday (September 19).

The service, which begins at 11am, will take place at Westminster Abbey.

Locally it will be broadcast at the Kenilworth Centre from 10.30am - with coffee, tea and cake available - and at Kenilworth Sporting Ground on Gypsy Lane.

Residents can still leave floral tributes in Abbey Fields near the car park and St Nicholas Church.

A service of commemoration and thanksgiving for Queen Elizabeth II will also take place on Sunday 18 September at 6.30pm at St Nicholas Church.

The castle will also be closed during the day on Monday, and Warwick District Council has urged residents to make sure their bins are out early on the bank holiday.
