Time running out to have your say on 550 new Kenilworth homes
By James Smith 16th Sep 2026
Residents have until the end of the week to have their say on plans for 550 new Kenilworth homes.
Catesby Estates is getting ready to submit planning applications for two parcels of land around Rouncil Lane and Warwick Road.
A public consultation has been launched and runs until September 20.
Plans show around 350 houses are planned to the west of Rouncil Lane, with the remaining 200 earmarked for the west of Warwick Road.
"Our vision is to plan high quality, sustainable and well connected developments providing a range of house types and sizes, including much needed affordable housing," Catesby said.
"We are seeking feedback from local residents and other stakeholders before finalising the proposals and submitting planning applications to Warwick District Council.
"The consultation website provides details of the proposals, and the opportunity to provide comments as part of this pre-application consultation process."

Nub News has already looked at the plans in detail, and has shared a breakdown of the masterplan here.
Catesby is planning for half the houses to be designated affordable homes.
"Extensive" landscaping, children's play areas and cycle routes are also planned.
A planning application for 180 new homes on Rouncil Lane has already been submitted to the district council for approval.
