A tree has fallen across the ford in Kenilworth, which has also flooded.

A flood warning is in place for Finham Brook, which has already burst its banks in Abbey Fields.

Police have already shamed a van driver for getting stuck in the ford on Castle Road this morning.

But now the road is completely impassable as a tree has fallen, blocking the road entirely.

A statement from Warwickshire County Council said: "We are working closely with partners to remove the obstruction, and will do so as soon as there is safe access to the site.

"We are monitoring the situation closely to ensure that the tree is removed in a timely, appropriate, and safe manner."
