Photographs shared by Cllr Richard Dickson have shown the extent of flooding in Kenilworth's Abbey Fields this morning (January 6).

A flood warning has already been put in place for Finham Brook, with the ford impassable.

And now the brook has clearly burst its banks with water flooding sections of the park.

Images show water over much of the grass, paths along the brook and also over the duck feeding station.

It is currently unclear what impact this will have on the already delayed redevelopment works at Abbey Fields leisure centre.

Concerns were raised about flooding when the new swimming pools were granted planning permission.
