Police shame driver as van gets stuck in Kenilworth ford

Police have shared a photo of a van which has got stuck in the ford in Kenilworth today (January 6).

Officers have told drivers to avoid the Castle Road area as there is reportedly three feet of water in the crossing at its deepest point.

A flood warning has already been put in place for Finham Brook following heavy rain and snow over the weekend.

A police post on Facebook said: "Again someone thought they can drive through 3ft of water?

"Please take alternative route in and out of Kenilworth."
