Police say they will continue to try and engage with a person sleeping rough on the edge of Kenilworth.

Kenilworth and Warwick Rural Police said there is local concern for an "unknown person" sleeping in a tent near Coventry Road.

"Officers have attended the location several times to engage with the individual to provide support," a force statement said over the weekend.

"To date, we have not been able to engage.

"We will re-attend."

Officers said they have left information for support services and provision for homeless people in Warwick district and Coventry.

A referral for outreach workers to engage with the person has also been submitted.
