The best independent businesses in Kenilworth have been revealed at the return of an awards night celebrating all the town has to offer.
Returning for the first time since 2019, The Worthies were hosted on Thursday (6 November) and celebrated Kenilworth's vibrant business community.
Winners were announced across six different categories and the awards were hailed a great success by organiser Kenilworth Chamber of Trade.
Chamber chair Rebecca Warwick Told Nub News: "Huge congratulations to the winners but also to all those nominees and finalists, such as Gavin Tutton Carpentry, Kenilworth Footcare, Kenilworth Massage Therapy and Alto Hearing to name a few.
"This was a completely public vote so to be there members of the public had to be so impressed with you that they were compelled to sing your praises in this way, so it is a huge compliment to get that far.
"We look forward to continuing this momentum by supporting our businesses with more events such as our Father Christmas Advent Calendar and The Kenilworth Fringe Festival coming in February."

Following the awards, Carl Edmonds of Edmonds Jewellers said: "It was a fantastic event, and it was great to be involved and meet lots of other businesses.
"It is absolutely great to be involved in something so positive about Kenilworth.
"And we are absolutely delighted that our hard work and the team's dedication has been rewarded.
"We will strive to do even better in our second year in Kenilworth.
"To be recognised is wonderful and we are so grateful to everyone who voted for us and has supported us since we came to town."

The event was supported by the town's MP Sir Jeremy Wright and Mayor of Kenilworth Cllr James Kennedy.
Rebecca added: "We are so grateful to our headline sponsors Bernard Roger's Accountants and award sponsors East Chase Distillery, Prune Software, Kindred CSR, Edmond's and Warwick District Council.
"We were joined by Mya Donnelly a student at Kenilworth School & Sixth Form who are fundraising for Shelterbox after the devastating storm in Jamaica and together we raised £500 on the night.
"We had entertainment from the fabulous local band Rise who took the roof off with a great set to close.
"A great night was had by all and Molly and her team at the Holiday Inn did a great job hosting for us."
With several nominations for members of the community, the Worthy Award recognised the hard work of those who go the extra mile to make Kenilworth a special place to live and work.

This year it was won by Jai Purewal, director of the family-friendly annual beer festival KENFEST.
Speaking on his award, Jai said: "Kenilworth RFC is committed to the power of community.
"For over 100 years and more recently under the banner of the club's community pledge, 'More than the Game', the club has been working to instil positive core values including honest, discipline, teamwork, and respect into our young people; of course in the hope that they go on to become better rugby players but most importantly, to equip them with the very necessary life skills to go on to live rich and fulfilled lives and of course make a positive contribution to our community.
"KENFEST was a response to post-Covid financial pressures at the rugby club, however as with many events staged at the club, the intention was always to support other worthy causes at the same time.
"We are delighted to confirm that in just three years, KENFEST has already donated over £50,000, split between the rugby club, The Myton Hospices and Warwickshire Hearts charities.

"It is said that it takes a village to raise a child, well we have proven it takes a town to raise a beer festival, especially one the size of KENFEST.
"In accepting this award, I do so on behalf of the KENFEST volunteers, none of whom take a penny from the event, our small army of sponsors without whom none of it would be possible, and of course everyone who has bought a ticket to the festival. Thank you.
"Final thanks go to the Kenilworth Chamber of Trade and everyone who made the Worthies possible. It's important to take a moment to celebrate all that is good about our town.
"We look forward to seeing everyone at KENFEST 1-3 May 2026."
