Solar panels are set to be installed at Castle Farm Leisure Centre, as part of a district-wide rollout of green energy plans.

Council planners have said Warwick District Council does not need prior approval for the works, which will see more panels added to those already in place.

"Some solar panels are already existing on the application building," a council report said.

"The proposed panels would situated adjacent to these on an existing shallow pitch roof to the south, which faces open land and is significant distance away from the rear of the nearest residential property."

The council is also set to install solar panels at Jubilee House.

Panels have also already been installed at Newbold Comyn in Leamington Spa and will come to St Nicholas Park in Warwick.

It has not been announced when the panels will be installed.
