The latest set of roadworks for Stoneleigh Road have been announced by HS2.

Traffic lights will be installed on the busy road when it reopens at the end of August.

The road has been shut since Monday 3 August as works for the new bridge and entrance to Stoneleigh Park continues.

HS2 has now confirmed traffic lights will be in place 24 hours a day from Sunday 30 August to Sunday 11 October.

"We will be finishing the work for re-alignment, and doing piling works at Stoneleigh Park entrance," HS2 said.

"Access to properties and Stoneleigh Park will be maintained throughout the works."
