Thirteen unloved buildings at Stoneleigh Park could be demolished if plans are signed off by the district council.

Mars Pension Trustees Limited has applied to knock down a number of unused units including a small office block, milking shed and stable block.

The units, which are scattered around the 1,000 acre site, could be removed as soon as May 8 depending on the decision from Warwick District Council.

The application said the 13 "eyesore" units include a range of portacabins, small industrial units constructed from breezeblock and some a small number of brick buildings.

"The buildings are to be demolished as they are vacant, unused, and un-lettable buildings that are falling into disrepair," the application said.

"Demolishing the buildings will improve the character and appearance of the estate for existing tenants."

Tenants at Stoneleigh Park currently include Farmers Fayre, NFU Mutual and the British Beekeepers Association.

NAEC Stoneleigh has also announced a 150 per cent growth in new business for last year.
