Next three months of Kenilworth HS2 works announced: new bridges, footpaths and cuttings

HS2 has issued its summer update for all the upcoming works around Kenilworth.
Over the past few months HS2 has submitted numerous planning applications for local works, and announced several upcoming road closures.
And now the high speed rail developer has released its summer 2025 'construction look ahead' for Warwickshire.
Upcoming work includes:
- Cromwell lane - multiple utility diversion works with a series of closures
- Burton Green tunnel - Installation of the tunnel roof slab, tunnel excavation and embankment build
- Constructing Broadwell Woods Embankment and Cutting. Approximately 45,000m3 of earth material is required for embankment
- Installation of W168 Underpass Structure and New W168 Footpath
- Crackley Woods - creating new woodlands, wetlands, and wildlife habitats as part of a 'green corridor'
- To build Canley Brook Viaduct
- Full closure of A429 Kenilworth Road to facilitate tie-in works ahead of road realignment
- Moving soil from Glasshouse Wood Cutting to Kenilworth Cutting
- Completing the B4115 Ashow Road Overbridge and associated carriageway improvements
- Realigning Waste Lane over a new bridge to the north of the existing humpback bridge. Install a new footpath on the realigned road to connect to the Kenilworth Greenway
