HS2 has announced a series dates for traffic lights for Stoneleigh Road over the coming months.

The high speed rail developer said the works are needed on the B4113 for the new 'green overbridge' to be installed.

Stoneleigh Road is currently shut until Sunday (April 19) and has been since the middle of March.

After the closure is lifted, traffic lights will be in place on the following dates:

  • 24/7 - Monday 20 April to Sunday 10 May
  • 24/7 – Monday 1 to Friday 7 June
  • 8am-6pm – Monday 8 to Sunday 15 June
  • 8am-6pm – Monday 13 to Sunday 26 July

"We will be doing additional investigatory work and utility diversions in preparation for the west tie-ins and the new realignment over the Green Overbridge," HS2 said.

"Later in the year we will need a full road closure, we will share the dates closer to the time."
