Meet the new landlords of Kenilworth's Wyandotte Inn
By James Smith 27th Mar 2026
The new landlords at a Kenilworth community pub have had an "absolutely fantastic" first few weeks in charge.
Jack Chamberlain and Brandon Price took over at the Wyandotte Inn at the start of March, and have already got to know the "lovely locals" at the Park Road venue.
Having looked at a couple of pubs before taking over, Jack said it was love at first sight when he visited the Wyandotte for the first time, with his grandfather.
"We came back here and had a pint and I really liked the place," he told Nub News.
"As we [he and Brandon] were looking for pubs, I went to see if this one was available.
"So there was a little bit of fate as it was available.
"Brandon and I came down to look at it and we both fell in love with it.
"We started talking to Jon and Theresa [previous landlords] and slowly started to come in and get to know people.
"We fell in love with it very quickly."

Having worked at Hickory's and other pubs and bars in his teenage years, taking over at the Wyandotte is a return to the hospitality sector for former teacher Jack.
"Moving back into the pub industry is something I've always wanted to do," he added.
"I thought now was the time to take the leap of faith."
After getting the keys at the start of the month, the duo have already started putting plans in place to bring new and exciting events to the Wyandotte.
As well as regular live music, quizzes, vinyl nights and promoting junior darts, Jack and Brandon want to start hosting regular garden parties.
The first of these will be held over a weekend in April and will feature food, live music and more.
"It's all about building the community," Jack said.
"We want to provide that community for the pub.
"My thought process on a pub has always been - if you've had a good day, a bad day, we're here for celebration, commiseration and everything in between.
"Whether you're three days old or 99 years old, we're here to celebrate everybody and support our community."
Other new events will include a Sunday walk called 'Caffeine and Canines' which will start with free hot drinks at the Wyandotte and bring local dog owners and their pets together for a walk around Kenilworth on a weekly basis, ending back at Park Road.
And while the duo are enjoying putting their own stamp on things, they were also quick to praise the work of their predecessors Jon and Theresa Sabin.
"We've taken over a very strong business from Jon and Theresa," Jack said.
"The pub's really grown.
"It's all about maintaining that and growing that."
