This week, children, teachers and parents at Castle Preschool and Out of School Club in Kenilworth have been celebrating their hard work and success after being rated by Ofsted as 'Outstanding' in all areas of their provision.

Castle, which has been providing Early Years education in Kenilworth for over 45 years, was warmly praised by the Ofsted inspector who stated: "In this pre-school, children receive excellent teaching."

The report also said teachers "go above and beyond to provide enriching experiences that help children to feel valued".

The family-run nursery school which was first set up by Pauline Weighell in her own home, is now led by her daughter Sarah Bromley and her husband Mat within the grounds of St Nicholas Primary School on Priory Road.

The Castle family says it wishes to thank all the children, parents and the whole team for the "wonderful praise" that Castle received following its inspection.

And they are hosting a summer party for the children to celebrate the success of the outstanding result.

Mat Bromley, Sarah's husband, who is also a teacher at the nursery, said: "It's a testament to the commitment shown by our whole team that we have received such inspiring feedback from Ofsted.

"Early Years education has such an important role to play in instilling a lifelong love of learning, and it's great to feel that our passion and commitment has been recognised by the inspectors who have visited us at Castle."
