Yet another planning application has been put forward to Warwick District Council to turn part of a Kenilworth industrial buidling into a vets.

'Kenilworth Vets' has already been given planning permission for a series of changes at the Bridge Works to repurpose the former furniture workshop.

Warwick District Council has signed off on new signage, entrance, doors and glazing.

But now Kenilworth Vets has submitted a 'change of use application' to the council, asking for the unit to no longer be designated for 'light industrial' use.

The application will not impact the other businesses at the Bridge Works.

"This is a sustainable location for a vets," the plans state.

It added: "The proposal is a veterinary practice, with two consulting rooms, and is expected to generate five jobs.

"Pedestrian access will be from Whitemoor Road.

"The parking standard requires eight parking spaces to serve two consulting rooms."

Most recently the unit in question was home to Bespoke Cabins and Landscapes ltd.

Unit ten has recently been marketed by local agent Bromwich Hardy which said it had potential for a variety of uses.

The approval follows a prior approval application for similar works which was withdrawn earlier this year.
