Kenilworth children have the chance to win £2,500 for their school to spend on climate change projects as part of a countywide competition.
Ideas on what it means to be a 'climate change hero' are wanted, with the winning entries being displayed at March's Coventry and Warwickshire Climate Change Summit at the University of Warwick.
Four winners of different ages will also win £2,500 to spend on anything from tree planting to starting wildflower gardens at their school.
Entries are open for young people aged 4 to 19 in full-time education.
"We know that children and young people can have fantastic imaginations, so we want to hear their ideas," said Cllr Heather Timms.
"The Young Green Shoots competition is a way for young people to learn about climate change through creativity, to contribute to discussions about the environment and become advocates for positive change."
Funding has come from Warwickshire County Council's green shoots community fund which has also funded a community garden and household repair cafe in Kenilworth.
