Kenilworth to have two Christmas light switch-on events again this year - dates confirmed
Kenilworth will once again have two separate Christmas light switch-on events this year with High Street and Warwick Road each having their own dedicated occasion.
As with last year, the High Street switch-on will take place first, on Friday, November 24 2023 with stalls open from 5pm to 8pm.
Warwick Road's event will take place two days later on Sunday November 26.
The second instalment will have fairground rides available from midday as well as entertainment on stage from 4pm to 8pm.
The lights will be turned on at 6pm.
Both events will be free.
Last year the light switch on events were held for the first time since 2019.
In 2021 the event was cancelled on the day due to bad weather, and in 2020 the switch-on was a virtual one with residents encouraged to turn on their own lights at the same time.
Details of the road closures, stalls and entertainment for the switch-ones will be announced closer to the time.
