The health and social care organisations within Coventry and Warwickshire are appealing for residents in Kenilworth and other towns in Warwickshire to share their voice on the new Integrated Care Record (ICR) which is due to go live in Autumn 2020.

The Integrated Care Record (ICR) will amalgamate information directly from existing health organisations to produce a consolidated electronic record for each individual. The rational is to create a much more streamlined and structured record for health care professionals to access.

This will allow professionals across a range of health care settings an updated and accessible history of the patient's treatment.

Development for the ICR has been the result of customer feedback, after concerns were raised that patients were repeating their medical histories to multiple care professionals within the region, when this could be avoided.

Please follow this link to find out more about the Coventry and Warwickshire ICR and what this means for you.

Users are invited to fill out a short survey after reading the information. This will allow you the opportunity to feedback on the scheme, as well as raise any concerns that you may have. The survey should take no more than ten minutes.

There is also the opportunity to register your interest in being involved with the ICR as a critical friend – providing feedback and being involved in further surveys as the ICR develops. This will help us to ensure that the ICR delivers the best solution for health care in the region.

Closing date for responses is Wednesday 30 September 2020.
