The Cross at Kenilworth has retained its Michelin Star for the eighth year in a row.

The New Street pub sits in an exclusive list of 164 one-star venues as Michelin announced its 2022 guide on Monday.

Owned by Andreas Antona and overseen by chef-director Adam Bennett, the Cross won its star back in 2014 just a year after opening.

Having retained its star the pub said: "Absolutely thrilled to have retained our Michelin Star for the 8th year in a row!

"A huge thank you to our team. This is a testament to your hard work, passion, and continued support.

"Congratulations to all those who received new stars."

Housed in a Grade II listed 19th-century inn and former schoolhouse, the pub is no stranger to receiving accolades.

Last month the pub was named in the top 50 UK gastropubs at the Estrella Damm awards and is also a finalist in this year's West Midlands Tourism Awards.

The National Pub and Bar Awards named it as the best pub in Warwickshire last year.
