Kenilworth's The Cross has been named as the best pub in Warwickshire in a national awards scheme.

The National Pub and Bar Awards recognise 94 different county winners across the UK, with regional winners and an overall winner to be announced on September 6.

Other awards recognising the best taproom, chef, brand, and bartender will also be given.

The Michelin Star restaurant is owned by Andreas Antona and has been run by chef director Adam Bennett since 2013.

The Cross was first awarded a Michelin Star in 2015.

The pubs shortlisted for the National Pub and Bar Awards have been chosen for their performance across design, training, investment, events, and their menus.

All 94 county winners, including The Cross at Kenilworth, will be invited to an awards ceremony at Euston Square in September.
