Kenilworth pub nominated for national front of house award

A Kenilworth pub has been nominated for the Front of House Team category at the Estrella Gastro Pub Awards.
The Cross, which has held a Michelin Star for eight years, is one of three top eateries in the running for the prize.
The New Street eatery - which is already in the Estrella Damm UK Top 50 gastropubs - is owned by Andreas Antona who was last year announced the Independent Restaurateur of the Year at The Cateys awards.
It has been nominated alongside The Victoria in Oxshott and Brook House in Fulham.
The awards ceremony will take place on Monday January 23 at the Unruly Pig in Suffolk - the top ranked pub in the list.
The nomination comes just months after The Cross announced its new general manager.
Pawel Skrzypinski took over at The Cross at Kenilworth in September building on his 15 years of experience in the hospitality industry.
The pub has also recently launched its 'Eureka' cookbook inspired by the success of its 'at home' meal service.
