Here are the biggest local planning stories from the past week.
Cancer Centre Concerns
A parish council has objected to plans for a new cancer treatment centre to be built between Leamington Spa and Kenilworth.
Nuffield Health & Icon Group has applied to Warwick District Council for what it says will be a "start of the art" facility at Nuffield Health Warwickshire Hospital, on Old Milverton Lane.
But Old Milverton and Blackdown Joint Parish Council has objected to the application saying there it is "inappropriate development" in the green belt and would have inadequate parking.
New Homes
The first homes are set to be released for sale within the new phase at the Westwood Park development in Burton Green.
William Davis Homes is releasing its first homes for sale at the development, off Westwood Heath Road, and opening the doors to its new marketing suite and showhome on Saturday 29 November.
The developer is building 70 new homes on a four-and-a-half acre site at Westwood Park.
A total of 46 homes will be sold on the open market, ranging in size from two to four bedrooms.
Museum's Power
A planning inspector has dismissed an appeal to try and force through plans for a 75-bed care home in Hatton.
Belmont Healthcare submitted the appeal after last year being refused planning permission for the development on Birmingham Road.
Planning officers at Warwick District Council had suggested the scheme should go ahead but councillors refused the application.
This decision has now been upheld by the planning inspectorate.
