A local gym is "delighted" to announce that its coaches will be out in Talisman Square throughout June, showcasing the gym's unique approach to ladies fitness and strength.

Curves Kenilworth is a gym designed for women and its 30-minute full body workout can help you burn as many as 480 calories in one session.

The circuit workout is designed to build muscle and take you in and out of cardio and fat burning in just half an hour.

Workouts can be tailored to people of all abilities and any age, from those looking to increase mobility and flexibility to those wanting to lose weight and increase muscle mass or to reshape their body.

And every Thursday this June, Curves' coaches will be out in the sun in Talisman Square between 10am and 12noon to explain more to locals.

The coaches will also be offering ladies the opportunity to pop into the gym for a look around and to try out a couple of the machines for free.

Any interested ladies who sign up for a complimentary workout will be entered into a prize draw for a year's free membership worth over £500.

"We're delighted to be able to be outside in the sunshine talking to ladies and answering any questions they may have about their fitness and nutrition," said Curves owner Jane Westrope.

Having been a member of Curves herself for 12 years, Jane took over the Kenilworth gym in January 2020, aiming to expand the unique support it provides for women.

"I love what it does for women and the total support it provides for them," Jane added.

"I get that there are a lot of people out there who don't like exercising, and there are a lot of girls and ladies that don't feel comfortable in gyms, even me as a personal trainer sometimes felt uncomfortable in other gyms.

"And a lot of ladies feel uneasy in a conventional gym often not knowing what to do, feeling embarrassed about their figure, feeling too old etc. Curves is different. Members feel comfortable in our gym. No one needs to feel embarrassed or worried when they exercise.

"All members get the support the require when they need it. We care."
