A local distillery has launched a range of gin-inspired gifts just in time for Christmas.

Gin gift boxes, gift vouchers and make your own gin experiences are now available from East Chase Distillers at East Chase Farm.

The artisan drinks company - which set up shop last November - will also be open daily from November 23 until Christmas, making it even easier to get your hands on one of the gifts.

"Looking for the perfect gift or experience? Look no further than our gin gift box and gin making experiences," said business owners Richie Bartle and Luke Weetman.

"Our gin gift box is curated with utmost care, featuring our selection of premium gins.

"It's the perfect way to treat your friends or clients to a luxurious and indulgent experience. Each box is beautifully packaged, making it a memorable and thoughtful gift.

"If you're looking to go beyond a gift box, from March 2024 we will have our own mini stills, where you can step into the world of gin-making, guided by our expert mixologists and learn about the art of distilling, experiment with botanicals, and create your very own unique gin blend using your favourite botanicals, whilst enjoying a deli board and sampling our gin."

The gin boxes feature four of ECD's heritage gin range, which has recently expanded to include Citrus Orange, Rhubarb & Apple, and Summer Fruits.

Each at 40% ABV, the three new flavours are all distilled using a world leading Holstein still, which allows for a slower, more controlled distillation process.

They add to the Heritage Gin ECD first launched last winter.

"Not sure which gin to choose or when your recipients would like to participate? Our gift vouchers are the ideal solution," the duo added.

"They allow your friends or clients to select their preferred bottle of gin or gin making experience at a time that suits them best.

"Whether you're looking to buy for family or friends, show appreciation to your clients, reward your hardworking team, or enhance your corporate gifting strategy, our gin gift box and gin making experiences are the perfect choice.

"Get in touch with us today to explore the options and make a lasting impression!"

The distillery - which also has a bar now open on Friday nights - has been a long time in the making.

Around six years ago, during a discussion in a local bar, Richie and Luke decided to go into business together, spotting a gap in the market and discovering their mutual love for gin.

East Chase Farm, where Luke's family have been for five generations, seemed the perfect venue.

The distillery itself is an old barn which they have completely remodelled into a bespoke distillery, with a mezzanine gallery, marble floors and oak beams all setting the scene for the world–leading Holstein still where they make their spirits.

As well as opening on Friday nights, ECD has also hosted a number of Gin, Tonic & Tales nights where Richie has opened up about his time in the special forces.
