Bus routes through Kenilworth will be disrupted due to nearly two weeks of road works along Albion Street.

Road resurfacing will take place along Albion Street on weekdays between Monday, August 16 and Friday, August 27.

During the closures the National Express 539 service will be unable to serve any bus stops on Mill End/ Dalehouse Lane between the bridge and The Engine pub, and will divert via Finham Rd in both directions.

Alternative stops will be on Dalehouse Lane or Park Hill, near Webster Avenue.

The Stagecoach X17 bus service will be unable to serve any bus stops on Rosemary Hill and Albion St. It will divert via Park Hill, Adcock Drive, Holmewood Close, back along Park Hill, Whitemoor Road, Spring Lane, Whateley's Dr and Priory Rd before returning to the normal route.

Alternative stops for this route are on Park Hill near Webster Ave, temporary stops on Spring Lane or existing stops on Priory Road.

WCC Bus Service said: "If you're unable to access any of the alternative stops due to mobility limitations, please contact us for further advice."
