HS2 has confirmed that the A429 Kenilworth Road will reopen tomorrow, ahead of the initially scheduled closure.

The roadway will become accessible once again on Saturday (28 June), following the successful completion of work.

The previously planned closure from 30 June to 20 July 2025 will no longer be necessary, with works scheduled to allow 'emergency' overnight works to take place on a Kenilworth road this week.

The A429 Kenilworth Road has been shut since 2 June for HS2 works..

Works on site have been delayed by the recent hot weather.

HS2 has been using the closure to finish embankments, reinstate and resurface the footpaths, position final utilities, and complete highway drainage works.

Crackley Lane has also been shut this month, with residents criticising HS2 for shutting both roads at the same time.
