Cromwell Lane will shut - again - for HS2 works this July and August (image by Nub News)

Yet another long closure for Cromwell Lane in Burton Green has been announced.

The busy road will be shut for 24 hours a day from Monday 28 July to Saturday 23 August 2025 for HS2 works.

The latest closure, which follows on from it being shut for three weeks in May, will see more works on the Burton Green tunnel.

The closure is for "multiple utility diversions"

Cromwell Lane will remain open for pedestrians and cyclists.

Another closure will be needed in the autumn, HS2 said.
