There will be no let off for motorists in Kenilworth, with HS2 bringing more traffic lights to a busy local road this May.

Temporary traffic lights will return to the A429 Kenilworth Road next month, just days after the A46 closure is lifted.

The lights will be in place 24/7 from Monday 12 May until Saturday 31 May 2025.

"As we continue the construction of the A429 Kenilworth road overbridge and road realignment, we need to create a footpath and complete further utility works in the area," an HS2 statement said.

"To carry out this work safely, we will installing temporary traffic lights and will be using vacuum excavation to help complete the works."

Temporary traffic lights have already been in place on Kenilworth Road this year, following an extended period of traffic management on the route into Coventry last autumn.
