HS2 announces two-month closure of Burton Green road

HS2 has announced nearly two months of closures for Cromwell Lane in Burton Green.
The high speed rail developer has said the two-phase closure was need to demolish a substation safely.
The road will be closed between its junction with Red Lane and Hodgetts Lane.
A signposted diversion route will be in place during the closure.
Cromwell Lane will be closed 24 hours a day between Monday 11 April and Friday 22 April, seven days a week.
Phase two of the closure will be off-peak from Monday 25 April to Monday 13 June. During this phase the road will be closed from 9.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 1pm on Saturdays.
