HS2 has announced yet another road closure in Kenilworth this summer.

The high speed rail developer will shut Dalehouse Lane between Common Lane and Stoneleigh Road from Monday 19 August to Friday 23 August 2024.

The closure will be in place 24 hours per day and is for "a series of verge maintenance with the installation of safety barriers along the highway".

There will be a signed diversion route in place during the closure.

Access to all properties, for cyclists and pedestrians will be maintained throughout.

This is the latest closure announced by HS2, following similar announcements for Crackley Lane and Kenilworth Road.

Councillors at Kenilworth Town Council were recently very vocal about the handling of road closures and the lack of notice given by HS2.

Dalehouse Lane has already been closed a number of times by HS2 and next year is likely to shut for around 14 months to allow for a new bridge to be installed.
