The list of candidates for the upcoming Kenilworth Town Council by-election has today (April 9) been announced.

Five candidates will be contesting the St John's Ward at KTC following the resignation of Jack Worrall in February.

The election will take place on May 6, alongside Warwickshire County Council and Warwickshire Police and Crime Commissioner elections.

However the results of this by-election are not due to be published until the following Monday (May 10) due to logistical reasons.

Contesting the St John's Ward:

Wendy Edwards - Green

Jane Green - Labour

Wayne Harris - Social Democratic

Alison Insley - Liberal Democrat

Richard Spencer - Conservative

Kenilworth Nub News will bring you the results of this election come May 10.
