An independent Kenilworth estate agent is celebrating another "successful" year as it enters its eighth year in business.

Julie Philpot Residential was first launched in 2019, when owner Julie Philpot decided to swap her job at a corporate, high street brand to launch the owner-led, boutique business.

And as the business nears a number of milestones, Julie has taken some time to reflect on the business' rapid growth.

"In April 2019 I launched the business with five properties and during the very first month, agreed the first sale," she told Nub News.

"We are now quickly approaching the 500th property sale with property prices achieved being well over £188 million.

"The business needs have also seen the team grow too.

"Donna joined me in 2020 with Claudia, Beth, Kim and Christine following thereafter plus our most recent recruit Caitlin.

"All the team are friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable, with their focus being on customer care.

"Along the way we have also been involved in various charity events, local sporting sponsorship and have been the successful recipient of national awards."

Other successes at Julie Philpot Residential include a new website launched earlier this year, as well as the opening of the new lettings department in 2025, headed by Donna.

"During the autumn of 2025 the lettings and management side of the business launched with Donna leading this department, looking after local landlords with many glowing reviews already which can be read on our website," Julie continued.

"This week Donna held an informal and very informative evening for landlords and tenants in order to provide them with up to date information and full details on the implementation of the Renters Rights Bill, commencing on 1 May 2026.

"We are are very much looking forward to the next chapter!"
