An independent Kenilworth estate agent has been named the best in the county at the biggest award scheme in the UK residential property industry.

On Friday (October 17) Julie Philpot Residential was named the best estate agent in Warwickshire by ESTAS.

Based solely on public reviews, the ESTAS recognise the best estate and letting agents for customer service based on ratings from clients who have been through the moving experience with an agent.

The winners were announced at the glittering awards ceremony at the Grosvenor House in London last week, which was hosted by the country's favourite TV property presenter Phil Spencer in front of 1,000 guests.

Following the announcement, business owner Julie Philpot told Nub News: "We are so pleased to share the news that we are the county winners in the Best Estate category and are very pleased to be bringing home a trophy.

"The ESTAS awards are based on actual customer reviews having been seen by over 15 million people.

"I am so happy that all the hard work and dedication has been rewarded to my team and thank them for their efforts and thank our customers for their fabulous reviews."

Julie Philpot Residential has been named the best in the CV8 postcode at the ESTAS for the past few years.

Last week's award also comes hot on the heels of the new lettings service the business has launched.

"The lettings service has been in the planning for around 12 months, and we are really excited to get it going," Julie told Nub News. 

"We want to provide the same standard of service, from an independent, owner-led business that we have done on the sales side of things. It is all about expanding on that ethos.

"Our lettings will follow the same boutique approach where it is very much quality over quantity.

"It will follow the same principles as our sales side, being a more boutique service.

"Donna has lots of experience in lettings, so landlords and tenants will be in good hands, she is really looking forward to getting going.
