March Fringe – 'A Celebration of Noël Coward's Life and Work'
Date: Thursday 7th March 2023
Time: 7:30pm and 9pm (content differs slightly at each performance!)
Where: Holiday Inn, Kenilworth
The Talisman Theatre is delighted to bring together a collection of Sir Noël Coward's work with extracts and songs to celebrate the English playwright, composer, director, actor, and Cabaret artist. Known for his wit, flamboyance, and what Time magazine called "a sense of personal style, a combination of cheek and chic, pose and poise", he was referred to as 'The Master' by his theatrical colleagues.
This year marks the 125th anniversary of Noël Coward's birth so what better way for the Talisman to pay tribute to this by curating a Fringe night to celebrate his life and work.
The format for this Fringe will be slightly different from usual in that at the 7:30pm performance you will enjoy an extract from 'Private Lives' but at 9pm the extract on offer will be 'Blithe Spirit' – so you may wish to come and see both! All other content and music will be the same across both the 7:30pm and 9pm performances.
The March Fringe is brought to you by our producer this month, Vanessa Comer, who is working with a company of talented actors across the evening as follows; Vivien Tomlinson, Paul Tomlinson, Mark Randall, Sue Randall, Ruth MacCallum, Andy MacCallum, Susi Walker, Paige Phelps, Sharon Sully, Dave Crossfield, Michael Barker, Phil Reynolds, with musical arrangement for the night co-ordinated by Rosie Gowers.
As we are in for a real treat of an evening and as the play extracts differ between the two performance times you may want to take advantage of the combined £7.50 ticket price which gives you access to BOTH performances!!
We can't wait to celebrate Noël Coward's Life and Work with you at the March Fringe.
