Kenilworth Squash Juniors had a trip to remember as they headed to Sheffield for the British Junior Championships last weekend.

Youngsters from Kenilworth Tennis Squash & Croquet Club were among the record-breaking 370 players who competed across 11 different titles.

Action was split across three venues with the older age groups primarily at Abbeydale and the younger categories mostly as Hallamshire and Fullwood.

Mariam Eissa proved too strong for number one seed Emily Coulcher-Porter and lifted the Under 15's title with a 3-1 win in the final.

Charlotte Hall fought brilliantly to get to the Under 11 final - beating the second seed in the semi-final - before eventually losing out to the top seed Nadiya Ismail 3-0.

Meanwhile Abdallah Eissa lost in the Under 19 semi-finals to the eventual winner Finnlay Withington and finished in fourth place.
